Tiger Woods is always the big draw at any event with huge galleries following him all around the course on each of his four rounds, and the 2009 Open Championship will be no different as fans and punters clamber to get the best view of the World No.1. Tiger Woods will be the favourite for every single tournament he enters and that is especially true at the Majors as the great man continues his march towards Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 Major victories. Punters all over the world love to have a bet on the World No.1 and there all manner of Tiger Woods Special Bets on offer to the golf fan.

Tiger returned to the Tour early in 2009 following a long lay-off with a knee injury and his form since then has been patchy at best with Woods still trying to regain top form. He has still managed to win two tournaments including the Memorial Tournament recently where he shot a 4th Round 65 to win in style. He finished a good 6th place at The Masters in April and followed that up with another 6th place at the US Open on the Black Course at Bethpage.

However, it is clear that Tiger has not quite got back to the level of before the knee op so it would appear he is more vulnerable than previously although a semi-fit Tiger will normally be good enough to win most tournaments. He has struggled for consistency off the tee since returning and if that falls into place then he will be once again invincible on his top form.
